Children from Bradford primary schools are invited to use their imagination to take part in an exciting Rocketry Challenge called Blast Off Bradford with the opportunity to win a trip to The European Space Agency in Holland.
This initiative is aimed at encouraging youngsters into Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics subjects and supports the governments drive to skill the work force of the future.
Each school will select a team of 10 students from years 5 and 6 to take part in the challenge. All participating pupils will receive a ‘Passport to Enterprise’ and teams have the chance to showcase their rockets at a big ‘Blast Off Day’ where the winning team will be announced.
As well as flying the rockets we have a number of activities for the children to take part in…..it will be a fun filled educational day for all….all for only £500 per participating team.
