UKSEDS (UK Students for the Exploration and Development of Space) is pleased to announce that subsidised student places are available for the UK Space Conference, thanks to generous sponsorship from Reaction Engines, ARGANS & the BNSC.
The UK Space Conference is the British space industry's premier event,
featuring a diverse range of presentations from internationally renowned speakers,
industry specialists,members of academia, and government & agency representatives. There will also be a comprehensive exhibition, featuring many of the industry's top graduate employers. After the recent announcement that ESA will be establishing a research centre in the UK, the British space industry has a renewed energy and this year's conference is set to be the most exciting yet!
Bursaries are available to any matriculated student (any degree, any level) at a UK university. Recipients will receive a three-day conference pass & accommodation (26th & 27th March 2010, including breakfast & lunch) for £20. There is also the opportunity to attend the UKSEDS/ISU social event on Friday 26th March for £10 (including dinner) and the post-Sir Arthur Clarke Awards social event on Saturday 27th March for £10 (including dinner). This really is an amazing opportunity for
students to get involved, do some networking, and have a great time!
