It seeks to promote learning in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and believes that Space Activity is a key way to attract and motivate young people. Y|E|S net partners collaborate to offer high quality learning opportunities with the aim to work together for the benefit of the learner, the regional & national economy and each other.
Y|E|S net objectives are to: Raise profiles - make people more aware of UK space activity, Create protocols - maximise the educational value of space, Share practice - develop the best ways of using space for learning.
To achieve our objectives we work collaboratively on: curriculum development and delivery, teacher professional development, funding opportunities, networking across the space community and influencing policy and strategy.
